Southern Safaris Australia are professional safari operators.Hunting takes place in Arnhemland which was declared and aboriginal reserve some 30 years ago and covers a massive 95000 km2.The entire region comes under a native title act, and is home to numbers of Australian indigenous people, who mostly still live in a mannner that is accorded to their historical customs practice.
In our concession there are no sealed roads,fences,stock troughs,windmills,powerlines,domestic stock,crop fields,dams or any man made structures or artificial water points or any other inteference from man other than the 6-8 community homes where our indigenous people reside.
We hunt the following large species Buffalo which grow in excess of 800kg,Wild Oxen to 700kg and pigs in the 100 kg range.We can taylor a hunt to suit your needs, from trophy Buffalo to catching a Barra or just photographic shots of 95000 square KM of vertually untouched wilderness and animals including crocodiles,birds,Buffalo,wild oxen and pigs to name a few.We also look after all the cooking,cleaning and provide home style cabin tent accomodation and food.
